WGC Landscapes Ltd was appointed Main Contractor for the refurbishment of this run-down precinct involving new paving, trees, lighting and overhead wing structures. The precinct gives access to the County Court building and various shop premises on the ground floor and flats above.
Existing bitmac, concrete flags, concrete bollards, lighting columns and street furniture were removed to allow for the installation of resin bound surfacing, ramped accesses, a new drainage system, electricity supply to feeder pillar, stainless steel illuminated bollards, stainless steel lighting columns with overhead wings and banner fixings, ground lights and new semi-mature tree planting in Arboresin-surfaced pits with root directors, barriers, underground guying and irrigation system.
This exciting project was delivered on time and within budget. WGC successfully managed the nominated specialist sub-contractor and ensured that safe access for the County Court, businesses and residents was maintained throughout the progress of the works.
