Through succesful completion of Phase 1 at Lower Ferry, Fryston. WGC Landscapes Ltd was awarded the external works package from Wakefield District Housing to complete Phase 2. As on Phase 1 the hard and soft landscaping was designing by Groundwork Wakefield, who are also administrating the contract.
This area was regenerated with block paving, boundary walling, planting and resin bound gravel
Removal of extising railings, fencing and macadam to provide the tenants with new brick boundary walls and block paved car parking areas.
Exsiting CCTV columns to be removed to make way for a decorative sculpture.
Installation of new block paved footpaths.
Work started on this project in late January 2014, with works completed May 2014.
